Restoring Dignity

The Send Me Ministry is making a significant impact in Ukraine through its dedication to help Jewish people in the region.

With a focus on restoring the dignity of the Jewish people from Ukraine, the ministry is actively involved in organizing camps for Holocaust survivors, and elderly from Ukraine. Through these camps, they are not only providing a safe and supportive environment but also sharing the message of hope and salvation.

It is crucial to recognize that Jewish individuals in former Soviet Union countries have been deprived of their religion, culture, language, and identity.

For the majority of the time, they have faced persecution solely for being Jewish.

Many have gone through traumatic experiences like the Holocaust, anti-Jewish pogroms, forced migrations, and times of societal turmoil.

They faced loss, survival, resilience, and injustice, yet also engaged in continual rebuilding.

Throughout much of their lives, they felt a sense of shame about their Jewish identity.

It wasn't just shame; they were actually afraid to openly identify as Jews.

In this dreadful time, God has opened doors for us to places that would normally be

closed to us. Through humanitarian aid, we reach Jewish communities across Ukraine, assisting synagogues and Jewish schools.

These new relationships creating new opportunities for us to serve our Jewish

brothers.

God has inspired us with a new mission focused on elderly Jewish individuals, aiming primarily to restore their dignity and share with them the message of Jesus, their Messiah, in their final days.

One of the ways we serve Holocaust survivors and the elderly is by organizing camps that provide a safe and nurturing environment where survivors can receive emotional, physical, and spiritual support.

These camps offer a sense of community and belonging, allowing survivors to share their stories and process their traumatic experiences together.

This year in June, for the second time, we will be hosting a Jewish group from eastern Ukraine.

In partnership with Chosen People Ministries, the Send Me Ministry is able to reach even more individuals in Ukraine with the message of Jesus, that is to feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty.
